The Italian Showdown is open to all enthusiasts of any fitness level

We want every participant to express their full potential in a fair and familiar environment. That is why the ability division requirements mirror the standard CrossFit WOD options and the spirit of inclusivity that defines affiliated boxes. Whether you are facing your first competition or looking for a new competitive challenge, you can find a level tailored to your capabilities.

Level 1

Beginner

You have little or no competition experience but you enjoy testing yourself. You are not yet familiar with all the skills, and in class you perform scaled workouts.

Level 2

Intermediate

You already have some competition experience and you like competing to push past your limits. You are familiar with almost all the skills, and in class you often perform Rx workouts.

Level 3

Rx

You are an experienced competitor and can go head-to-head with complete athletes. You are familiar with all the skills, and in class you always perform Rx workouts.

Requirements by Division

Loads and Skills

The ability division requirements no longer refer to an ideal Regional-level athlete; instead, they are calibrated on the most common characteristics of the "everyday athletes" who attend classes. Consider the loads listed as a minimum load-management requirement, and keep in mind that during the competition you may face unexpected tests of any kind, load and duration.
