Green Pass for all participants

In order to guarantee maximum safety for all participants in the 2021 Italian Showdown, the EU digital COVID certificate or a negative test will be required

The Council of Ministers of Thursday 22 July 2021 resolved to extend the national state of emergency until 31 December 2021 and decided on how to use the Green Pass. In particular, it will be possible to access shows open to the public, sporting events and competitions, fairs, conferences and congresses only if you have:

  • EU Digital COVID Certificate or equivalent certificate, proving vaccination or recovery from Sars-CoV-2 infection (valid for 6 months);
  • alternatively, carrying out a rapid molecular or antigen test with a negative result for the Sars-CoV-2 virus (valid for 48 hours).

Therefore, in compliance with the provisions of the law, the Green Pass will be required from all those who enter the Rimini Expo Center to participate in the Italian Showdown as competitors or to assist as companions or spectators. The same certification will be required to all the staff of the event and to the staff of sponsors and exhibitors.

For foreign guests, an information assistance service is available on rules and obligations that international visitors and exhibitors must comply with for entry into Italy, which concerns arrival by plane, train, bus or car, indicating the national provisions and those eventually declined by the local health authorities.

Users will receive information by filling in a simple form available in the Safe Travel section of the RiminiWellness official website: just indicate the place of departure, any international stopovers and place of arrival; the answer will also contain the territorial medical assistance numbers.

The system will be updated on a daily basis with respect to changes in legislation thanks to a group of professionals specialized in legal disciplines. Should sponsors and exhibitors need further assistance, it will also be possible to provide customized services upon request.

The Rimini Expo Center and the other structures of the Italian Exhibition Group are the only ones in Italy accredited by GBAC STAR, the global certification program of international standards of cleaning, sanitation and prevention of infectious risks for environments and personnel of the Global Biorisk Advisory Council.
